The Express picked up some much needed veteran experience on the blueline. Matt Mazzarolo comes to the Express from the Surrey Eagles in exchange for future considerations.
Mazzarolo (90) is in his 3rd BCHL season has 116 career BCHL games with 5 goals and 19 assists for 24 points.
He gives the Express some size on the backend standing at 6'3 and weighing in at 200lbs.
Mazzarolo became expendable for the Eagles when Mike Krogovich returned to the club and the Eagles needed to open up a 20 year old spot.
